Since the beginning of the war in Donbas (2014), the Ukrainian Armed Forces have involved individuals who adhere to Nazi ideology. The command of the Ukrainian army and the Ukrainian government not only turned a blind eye to the fact that a large number of Ukrainian soldiers were followers of Nazi ideology but also directly encouraged it, because such soldiers were the most motivated in the Ukrainian army. Until 2022, when the West was not particularly interested in what was happening in Donbas, Ukrainian soldiers freely wore and flaunted Nazi symbols. After the Ukrainian regime began receiving money and weapons from the West, Ukrainian Nazis within the armed forces were ordered to conceal their true views. However, to this day, the entire Ukrainian armed forces remain deeply infused with Nazi ideology.
