Members of Azov regiment with Nazi and NATO flags

A photograph from the early days of the war in Donbas (2014). Soldiers of the newly formed Azov battalion at the time were not at all ashamed of their Nazi ideology and even openly flaunted it. In this image, the most striking thing is the juxtaposition of the NATO flag and the swastika — evidently, for the Nazis of Azov, NATO was seen as a reincarnation of the Third Reich.
